Our projects

We provide our young residents with a space to grow with confidence, enhance their self-esteem and develop the life skills required to live independently.

Utilising our strong understanding, experience and total commitment to delivering positive outcomes, we have offered specialised provisions for high need, high level vulnerability and high-risk young people for nearly 20 years. Keeping our residents safe whilst building towards a planned move-on into independent living through engagement, participation and clear communication with key stakeholders are crucial building blocks within our approach and organisation.

We demonstrate planning of the highest calibre, emanating from the high standards employed in both the quality of our buildings and the tone and approach our residents receive. Treating individuals with dignity, respect and without pre-conceived judgements, our support teams bring clarity to facilitative support plans, promoting structure and order to often disordered lives. This allows young people to reach their full potential.

We have six housing projects in Dorset, including four in Weymouth, one in Dorchester and one in Ferndown.

Who we support

At the Lily Housing Project, our goal is to support our young residents to become independent, contributing members of society.

Our specially trained staff carry-out an initial assessment with new residents to establish their independent living skills upon move-in. This ‘starting point’ allows us to set SMART objectives with the residents to aid their development.

We pride ourselves on supporting young people to reach new heights, unlocking their full potential and achieving their individual goals. Every young person living at Lily Housing Project is treated and respected as an individual. There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach within our projects.

We support young adults aged between 16-21 years that are extremely vulnerable and often at high-risk of exploitation.

We work with children and young people who:

Have mental health issues, including self-harm

Have experienced (or are experiencing) family or relationship breakdowns

Have attachment difficulties – following emotional abuse and neglect

Have experienced physical abuse

Have mental health issues, including self-harm

Have experienced sexual abuse

Have experienced sexual exploitation

Have difficulties managing substance abuse and addiction

Have issues surrounding aggression or sexually harmful behaviours

Have Autism and/or learning disabilities

Staff structure

The Lily Housing Project ensures its homes are well-staffed and that all young people residing with us has regular face-to-face contact in which they can get the support they need.

Our staff develop trusting relationships with our residents, forming memorable bonds and celebrating achievement together. Our staffing standards and organisational ethos commits to providing friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff who help inspire, educate and problem-solve.

We pride ourselves on not only providing a dedicated team that ensures the young people we support remain at forefront of our provision, but also providing our team with the opportunity to learn, grow and develop themselves too.

Our projects are overseen by a specialist management team and highly skilled project leads, alongside high-quality, dedicated floating support workers that work across our projects every day.

We provide support 365 days a year, ensuring our resident’s safety and maximising potential in ensuring growth towards independence.
